Our caregiver-training model is appropriate for caregivers who are willing and able to take the lead role in their child’s learning.
- Weekly consultation between the caregivers and a BCBA via telehealth and in person
- Consultation is typically focused on a few areas for growth, such as cooperation with daily routines, decreasing challenging behavior through functional communication, promoting positive sibling interactions and relationships, promoting flexibility, teaching regulation strategies, feeding, sleep, and toileting.
- Consultation typically consists of about 75% of services being delivered remotely and about 25% in-person.
- Parent availability for remote meetings between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm is required. In-person sessions may occur after 4:00 pm when needed.
