Originally from Illinois, Lindsay Peters received a BS in Psychology from the University of Colorado in 2000, her MS in Applied Behavior Analysis from Northeastern University under Dr. Jason Bourret in 2007, and her Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Western New England University under Dr. Rachel Thompson in 2016.
Lindsay has been working with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families since moving to New England in 2002. She has served individuals ranging in age from 2 to 22 and has worked in residential, school, and clinic-based programs. Lindsay is proficient in the areas of functional assessment and function-based treatment, teaching verbal and social behavior, and staff and parent training.
Lindsay’s passion for clinical work also extends to applied research. She has co-authored papers published in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, the Journal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior, Behavioral Interventions, and Behavior Analysis in Practice.
Lindsay is dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based ABA services to the clients and families she serves. She employs a team approach to her work, collaborating with families and other professionals. She is thrilled to be sharing her experience and love of the work she does through Elmtree ABA Services.
In her free time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her son and black lab, Addie. Together, they enjoy hiking, spending time near the water, and going on adventures exploring New England (and beyond)!
